Robert Parker calls Rivera Vineyards "Outstanding!"

2010 Perpetuity (91+ points) / SOLD OUT

"Two outstanding efforts from this Atlas Peak property include the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Perpetuity, a dense purple-colored, full-bodied effort displaying plenty of loamy, earthy scents interwoven with black currants, unsmoked cigar tobacco and background oak. This rich, impressive Cabernet can be drunk now or cellared for another 12-15 years."

2011 Perpetuity (90 points) / Limited inventory, purchase here

"More chocolate notes appear in the dense ruby/purple-colored 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Perpetuity. It possesses charming red and black currant fruit notes intermixed with licorice and wet rocks. With medium body, low acidity and ripe tannin, it can be enjoyed over the next 5-7 years."

Parker’s rating system employs a 50-100 point quality score (Parker Points®):

90-95: An outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character. In short, these are terrific wines.
